Find the average rate of change of f(x)= x^3 - 4x^2 + x + 2 from x=1 to x=4

Hello,

f(1)=1-4+1+2=0
f(4)=4^3-4*4²+4+2=6

[tex] \dfrac{f(4)-f(1)}{4-1} = \dfrac{6-0}{3} =2 [/tex]
